New Design

Welcome to the new, fresh EliteNick.com! I took advice from many people on this one, and decided to really give it my all. There are a few pages I need to completely remake, but for the most part, the site is done. It is of course XHTML and CSS valid, and I tried some new techniques, just as Collis from PSDTUTS suggested.

Here are twenty articles, generators and tutorials on Photoshop, CSS, PHP and HTML that have helped me have the knowledge that I do today. Some are basic, talking about the difference between CSS ID’s and classes, and others are more in-depth, such as the “Create a Sleek, High End Web Design from Scratch” tutorial, that covers everything from the Photoshop concept to the final XHTML and CSS valid end result. Simple or not, I found these sites to be more useful than most, and now I am sharing them with you.

Being a web designer in 2008 is a lot different than it was 10 years ago. Before, you could just use some crap program to make all the code for you, and call it a day. Everything’s changed now that CSS, AJAX and mainly just simplicity have taken over.
