Y!Amp M10 Released
Posted in Site News by Nick on January 24th, 2010
I’m happy to say that Y!Amp M10 is now up for download. I tested it in both Windows XP Professional, and Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. It should work fine in Vista as well. It now works with Yahoo! Messenger 10, obviously.
Visit the Y!Amp page to download it. Don’t forget to donate while you’re at it.

Y!Amp 10 To Be Released
Posted in Site News by Nick on January 21st, 2010
I’m just making a quick post to let everyone know that Y!Amp M10 will be uploaded VERY soon (in the next day or so). I have it working on Yahoo! Messenger 10 just fine, but I am just waiting another day or so because I want to see if I can add some more features. Your current version of Y!Amp will let you know when the update is out.
I also want to apologize for the lack of updates for anything besides music. I am currently very busy in life. I am back in college full time now, and have a full time job as well. The only thing I really want to do after work and school is work on music, which is why you’re seeing a lot of new songs coming out from me.
Anyway, the update real be released very soon. Thanks a bunch for continuing to support Y!Amp for years and years!

Y!Amp M9 Released
Posted in Site News by Nick on October 30th, 2008
I am releasing Y!Amp M9 today, and you can get it on the Y!Amp page. There are a couple things that I want to mention…
The big thing is that it now works with Yahoo! Messenger 9, of course, but the even bigger point is that Y!Amp now supports something called Last.FM. Last.FM is an application that runs in the background on your machine, and gathers what you are and have been listening to in Winamp, Windows Media Player and iTunes, then uploads that information to the Last.FM servers and your Last.FM profile for others to see. So in a way now, Y!Amp works with iTunes and Windows Media Player as well, providing that you enable Last.FM support. Big thanks to Gareth Ferguson at Gareth-Software.com for helping me with this.
Also, there are some things people have requested that I plan on integrating later but are not yet present – things like showing the last song you’ve listening to in your AIM profile, your AIM away message, your MSN status, etc.
One other thing that I am slightly sad to say is that there is currently no way to show fake icons anymore with Y!Amp M9. I know for a fact that fake idle is still possible but not through the way I used to code it, so there will be an upate for Y!Amp soon that will let you know when this will be reintroduced.
Enjoy the program, and please, if you have any comments/concerns/issues feel free to leave a comment below or on the Y!Amp page.
