20 Useful Web Design Articles, Generators and Tutorials
Posted in Articles, Web Design, Web Roundups by Nick on October 20th, 2008
Here are twenty articles, generators and tutorials on Photoshop, CSS, PHP and HTML that have helped me have the knowledge that I do today. Some are basic, talking about the difference between CSS ID’s and classes, and others are more in-depth, such as the “Create a Sleek, High End Web Design from Scratch” tutorial, that covers everything from the Photoshop concept to the final XHTML and CSS valid end result. Simple or not, I found these sites to be more useful than most, and now I am sharing them with you.

How to be a Better Web Designer
Posted in Articles, Web Design by Nick on August 12th, 2008
Being a web designer in 2008 is a lot different than it was 10 years ago. Before, you could just use some crap program to make all the code for you, and call it a day. New Design, New Idea!
Posted in Site News by Nick on August 4th, 2008
EliteNick.com is back, and I’m ready to start fresh, if it isn’t obvious enough.
This design reflects my new style, and my new skillset. The top illustration of me was done by my lovely girlfriend Sarah. The new idea behind the site is it is pretty much my personal blog, but I will still upload new stuff for people, such as MySpace templates, music, programs and whatever else I feel like doing/sharing.
I plan on making a few new MySpace templates that reflect the one I made for myself (myspace.com/elitenick) using CSS and DIV’s instead of just changing MySpaces’ default CSS ID’s and classes. It’s a little more difficult to understand at first, but I will write a quick tutorial so people can know what to do after pasting the code.
I also have many new songs I’ve been working on, but most of them are incomplete. One that IS done is called Philia, and you can hear it here – Philia . Eventually, when I get a few more complete, I’ll probably release all of them on a “web album”. You’ll see it available on iTunes, Amazon MP3 etc. Yup, I’m excited.
In case you’re wondering, yes, I am still working on theyCREATED. It’s become a huge project and I think I’m going to start fresh and just get it going.
That’s it for now.
